Cacao Tocache was born in 1990 as a result of the organization of several producers in the San Martín region of Peru. Since then, it has been characterized by bringing together a large number of small farmers and indigenous producers, some of whom found in cocoa an alternative to the production of illicit crops, thus promoting a productive culture of peace with the communities and nature.

What do we do?
We grow more than 1,022 hectares of certified cocoa with innovative agroecological practices, distributed amongst almost 500 farming and indigenous families.
Our bean is preferred by some of the most exclusive chocolate factories in Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Thailand and India, both for its high quality and its positive impact on communities and the environment.
As part of our vision of permanent improvement, we have implemented traceability systems with Blockchain to certify and guarantee all the characteristics of our cocoa.
Through the creation of income sources, permanent training and community infrastructure such as collection centers, solar panels, meeting places and others.
We promote continuous improvement through demonstration plots, post-harvest modules and accessible manuals, which can be put into practice thanks to the Revolving Credit Fund.
Exclusively for the local market, we also produce cocoa derivatives such as chocolate bars, cocoa powder and cocoa nibs.
